The group's mission is to promote awareness of Argentine culture and the tango musical style. The group hosts musical events that involve playing for dancers (what tango dancers called Milongas) as well as concert series events. In addition, the band has conducted educational seminars discussing Argentine culture, the origin of the tango musical style, as well as seminars for musicians on how to play tango music. The dancers, Fuad Elhage and Frances Germany Torres, are invited to demonstrate and teach people about the dance itself.
